FRACTIONAL PROJECT & PROGRAM LEADERSHIP

Increase certainty in the outcomes of your most critical projects.

A 20-year program leader with high stakes experience, embedded in your team a few days a week, without the cost or the wait of a full-time hire.

A working session on your actual constraints.

What fractional PM support actually looks like

90 seconds on who this is for, what little risk you have in proceeding, and how we get started.

SOUND FAMILIAR?

Teams are running fast. Nobody is connecting all the dots.

Milestones keep sliding

The schedule exists, but it isn't really working. Dates move, and by the time the slip is visible, options are gone.

Risks turn to issues

In regulated work, surprises are expensive. The risks were knowable, there was just on one whose job it was to run them down.

A full-time PM doesn't pencil

You need senior program leadership now. Not 40 hours of it 90 days from now. And it's really just to get things stood up through the next phase.

Studies show roughly 70% of projects fail to deliver their intended outcomes. The pattern doesn't map back to effort. Its the absence of experienced project leadership at the right altitude. Putting the right pieces in place so the outcomes are inevitable.

HOW AN ENGAGEMENT RUNS

Audit. Prioritize. Embed and execute.

01

Project Performance Audit

The first few days: a structured audit across the project performance domains to get to the root of what's slipping and why.

02

Gap & Sensitivity Analysis

A short, ranked list of what actually moves the outcome. You see the plan before anything changes.

03

Embedded execution

The plan gets run in side your team, the embedded PM takes real ownership of schedule, risk, informing decisions so they get made, and with measurement that shows the trend turning, week over week.

THE ENGAGEMENT

Senior program leadership, sized to your project

  • Embedded a few days per week. In your standups, your reviews, your escalations

  • Owns the schedule, the risk register, and the stakeholder cadence. Not just advice on them.

  • Built for regulated, high-stakes work. Design controls, safety cases, audits are home turf

  • Month-to-month engagements. You decide to throttle up or down and keep it because it's working, not because of a contract

Engagements get scoped on our first call to deliver something tangible within a week.

WHO YOU"RE WORKING WITH

Jim Gabriel, PMP

Twenty years of hands-on program management across medical device, aerospace, nuclear power generation, and consumer product development. Jim has led programs where “the deadline slipped” means a missed regulatory window or a grounded system. Environments that don’t forgive improvised project management. That’s the playbook he brings when your projects need to deliver without excuses or chaos.

Others probably describe it better than we can.

Common questions

How is this different from hiring a consultant?

A consultant hands you recommendations. This gives you a PM who can own delivery. The schedule, the risks, the facilitation of decisions, the communications inside your team. The trend gets setup with a baseline and measurement method first, then we own that trend as well.

How much time do we get?

Most engagements run one to three days a week, or capped on hrs/wk, scoped to the project. The audit in the first week sizes it honestly. Some projects need less than you'd expect.

Do you only work in regulated industries?

That’s where the depth is. Medical device, aerospace, nuclear. But the capabilities travel. Complex engineering and product development anywhere benefits from the same discipline.

How fast can you start?

How about next week? While we sign the NDA, you email the notice to proceed. That should only take a few minutes, and it's all that's required a lot of times.

How much do these services cost?

Obviously, it depends. But our purpose is to ensure you get the value without the risk. We will work with you to design a solution that can work.

One call. A clear read on what it takes to improve your operations.

Thirty minutes on your actual project. If this isn't the right fit, at least you'll leave with a few good questions that might change your perspective.
